Falls Iguazu Hotel & Spa Reviews

"Beautiful Hotel Surrounded By The Sounds Of The Jungle" - Service was awesome. Room was very clean and comfortable. As for all tours, you are being picked up from your hotel, location should not be a factor. Bar, restaurant were reasonably priced and the spa was fantastic. On our last day, we had to leave earlier than breakfast hours and they have prepared us a special breakfast in the restaurant. They really make the extra mile with a smile. Highly recommend! - Posted by a verified traveller on 04 Jan, 2018

"Fantastic Resort By Breathtaking Iguazu Falls!" - This resort was an ideal location to relax and treat yourself to the pool, spa, and nice breakfast and dinner when you’re not seeing the Falls or visiting the nearby town. Staff were superb, room is very spacious and would highly recommend this to you. - Posted by a verified traveller on 01 Jan, 2018

"Needs Management Improvement And Attention To Detail" - Hotel is very impressive on its construction and grounds. We were greeted at the airport by a driver organised by the hotel. This is a exclusive car company the hotel deals with, our driver was really nice and we organised collection and pick up for the following day to visit Iguazu Park. That was really nice but also super practical to not have to worry and have everything organised. We had a pool view room. Stayed in for 3 nights on half board. Although we had half board with our stay, this does not include water with your meal. Every single water needs to be paid for, which may be an issue for people who travel with children as we witnessed. Not having water as part of our meal was a 1st time, particularly having half board, not impressed there and there was no complimentary water in the room either. We had a frog on the outside on our room door, which we had to request to be removed, and there was a mantis inside the room just by our bed. Realised on the second day that cleaning ladies left the bedroom window opened every time they cleaned the room, hence it’s inevitable that bugs will come in. They should really know better!!! Our room was quite big and really nicely decorated. Although the hotel only opened in January, there was mould in bath sealant, which is not pleasant or justifiable to an hotel of this level and with only 11 months. There is no iron & board in the room, only an overpriced ironing service, which I found a bit ridiculous. Food was I have to say, exceptional and the choice available would be to anyone’s delight, best breakfast I have ever seen and dinner was the same, just outstanding. Although food was impressive, every morning I had to route for a clean breakfast bowl, as there was a lot of not properly cleaned dishes. There is a lot staff just about, with very little work to do, and witnessed managers giving out to waiters in front of customers, which just shows there’s no maturity in the way to deal with staff or customers. Waiters presence at the restaurant is constant and always on top on you, not in a nice way. You literally put your fork down and someone is taking it away from you and even break basket was removed once without even been asked. We witnessed waiters being instructed to do so by management, so they really had no choice there. Besides the normal restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner is served, there is also another restaurant by the pool, which again very good food but questionable service. The pool itself is great, but again, a lot of staff just laying around and although there was a lot of bugs in the pool every day, dead flies and bees, no one was cleaning it or removing the same. Good towel service and you can get food and drinks where you sun bathe. Friendly environment for children to play. Theres a small gym and spa, and also Roman Bath facilities that oversees the pool. Theres a bar on the ground floor lobby, on the 1 st floor and also on pool restaurant, all serve variety of drinks and cocktails. Hotel is great and with immense potential, just find that service needs to be improved and perfected and please don't be correcting your staff in front of customers its just embarrassing and completely unnecessary. - Posted by a verified traveller on 29 Dec, 2017

"Great Hotel" - Every thing excellent . The room staff great. Only suggestion will be needs to have some change in food for breakfast and dinner. We stayed 3 nights but no rice for any days. This is the only recommendation I have. - Posted by a verified traveller on 26 Dec, 2017

"Thanks For Helping - We have enjoyed our stay at this very attractive new hotel, but wanted to give special thanks to Natalia at the reception counter. My wife left her new i-phone in a taxi on our way to the hotel after a day at the falls. Natalia tracked down the taxi driver and got our phone back within 2 hours. Thanks for restoring the phone and making my wife very happy. - Posted by a verified traveller on 20 Nov, 2017

Nice Hotel, Management Needs Work - We really wanted to give this hotel a better grade, but they just kept disappointing. The facilities themselves are about what you'd expect for an upscale resort. The building is fairly new and well maintained. The rooms clean and spacious. The pool area is also very nice The management and operation of the hotel is its main problem. First the posted hours for the pool are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. But it really closes at 7. This hotel gets most if not all it's business. because of its proximity to the Iguazu Falls park which closed at 6. When the pool closed at 7 guests who've spent a long day at the Park just don't have time to enjoy the pool. Also we tried and tried to get a drink at the pool bar but were told it was closed, only to see other guests served there. Similarly we tried to make a reservation for the Spa but were told they were booked up for that day. Then we watch no guests enter the Spa at all. We believe it was closed during our visit but were never told that. The food at the free breakfast and dinners that came with the hotel rooms was mediocre at best. The tables we sat at were not properly set (they were always missing some napkins and flatware) and generally coveted in crumbs. Avoid the hotel's restaurant if you can. The one truly bright spot for the hotel was the service provided by the front desk and (most bartenders). They all seemed to have your best service in mind and acted like it. Always very courteous and responsive. This could be a good resort, the "bones" are there. But a change in how it is managed is needed. - Posted by a verified traveller on 16 Nov, 2017

Great Stay! - This is a beautiful hotel and the room was spacious and nicely appointed. We had a superior room with a balcony view of the jungle. The bathroom was also very nice with the jetted tub. The staff, especially Sebastian and Natalia were welcoming and helpful. The food was ok but not great. Pros: beautiful new hotel (opened in April) greeted with welcome drink spacious comfortable room dinner was included, so it was great not to have to worry about going out to dinner Taxis readily available for transportation close to city (100 pesos taxi ride) and Iguazu Falls (600 pesos taxi ride Argentine side and 650 pesos for Brazilian side) Cons: Air conditioning is very loud. Short staffed at dinner time, especially at BBQ restaurant. Scrambled eggs runny every day, bacon was not well done and very fatty. No oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, omelettes or other options for preparing eggs. Mostly sweets, breads, cold cuts and cheese, etc (European style). Bread was always stale. Pool not heated and no jacuzzi. - Posted by a verified traveller on 15 Nov, 2017

Very Good Stay. We Even Extended It - So nice service. New hotel. Easily in reach of the falls. Reception helped us a great deal as we do not speak good Spanish. Very good value for money. We liked a lot the quiet environment and the meals were good altough the room in which we took the meals is lacking a bit of design. - Posted by a verified traveller on 15 Nov, 2017

Falls Iguazu Hotel - The service was excellent. The room was very cimfortable and clean. The location of the hotel is not the best but acceptable. I liked the most the kindness of hotel personnel. I missed only more walking paths. - Posted by a verified traveller on 14 Nov, 2017

Best Place In Iguazu - Exceptional service and experience. On arrival it was an amazing day. We checked in nice and quickly and headed down to the pool for a swim and beverage. The pool is spectacular. We stayed here for 4days to explore the falls and I was extremely happy with our choice. The hotel is new so everything is in top condition. The room was super spacious and the bed was big and comfy. The buffet breakfast and dinner the icing on the cake, you won’t be disappointed. They offer a spa service to ensure you can relax after a long day walking. Really exceeded expectations - Posted by a verified traveller on 14 Nov, 2017
